Accessibility Statement
MonthlyCalendar.com wants every visitor to be able to use its calendars and planners, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, a magnifier or high contrast.
What we do
- The pages aim at the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
- Every page can be used with the keyboard alone. A “Skip to content” link appears at the top when you press TAB, and the element in focus is always marked.
- Text and buttons have enough contrast with their background; colour is never the only sign of something (holidays also carry their name).
- Buttons and icons have names that screen readers announce, images have text alternatives, and every page has one main heading.
- The pages work at any zoom level and on small screens.
Accessibility settings
The “Accessibility” link at the bottom of every page (or at the top, when you press TAB) opens a window where you can:
- make all the text larger or smaller,
- turn on high contrast,
- highlight the links,
- highlight where you are when you move with TAB,
- reset all the settings.
Press TAB to move forward, Shift + TAB to go back and Esc to close the window. Your choices are kept in this browser for your next visit.
Known limitations
- The ready-to-print PDF and PNG calendars are pictures of a calendar page; their content is also on the page of each month as text.
- Some holiday names are shown in their country’s own language and script next to the English name.
